Planning, analyzing and monitoring CAPEX in general and OPEX in particular working with stakeholders in Engineering.
Assist management in managing and controlling CAPEX, OPEX and pertinent cash flows in line with requirements from Technical function.
The key objective is to bring excellence in Operation and cost efficiency.
Development of price, CAPEX, OPEX historical trends, benchmarks and identify room for improvement.
Assist management in departmental Budget preparation, reconciliations & alignment.
Suggestions for improving existing processes & SOPs to achieve departmental efficiency in financial housekeeping.
Interdepartmental budgetary reconciliations , trend, variance and comparative analysis of allocated vs. actual spending of Opex activities with recommendations
Preparation of periodic opex forecast for Engineering division after conducting discussions /sessions with different sub-departments
Assist in Commercial evaluations & financial data management of vendor proposals.
Coordination with Procurement & record keeping for POs / Invoices.
Review process of Service & Purchase Requisitions relating to Engineering as per the contracts and policies & suggestions for improvement.
Costs saving analysis and proposals on regular basis, coordinating with different departmental heads and making necessary steps for timely responses of any floated financial queries
Efficient financial reporting for Technical management
Planning of Opex / Capex aligning with Company and Technical strategy.
To find ways and guide users to manage and control CAPEX/OPEX within budgetary allocations.
To bring operational efficiency and develop benchmarks and historical trends for negotiations with vendors and improvement in contracts.
Sound knowledge of business assessment skills, including risk management, business planning, Opex controls in Services sector
Excellent financial reporting and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in financial analysis, financial planning, forecasting especially in CAPEX/OPEX
Capable of preparing and interpreting financial reports and management reports using advanced tools of Excel, Power point and like software
Excellent command over MS office, specially Excel, Power point and accounting software exposure is preferable. Experience in writing macros, scripting and sound understanding of databases is preferred.
